The Kardashian-Jenner family's love of organising super lavish and, quite frankly, totally OTT parties knows no bounds. Just a few weeks ago, the family threw its glitziest-ever legendary Christmas Eve bash, for which Kourtney Kardashian transformed her home into an all-red-everything festive wonderland complete with a gigantic ball pit and a special performance by Sia.

So when it came to celebrating Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter Chicago's birthday, it's no surprise that the festivities were as extravagant as ever.

Kim Kardashian threw the five-year-old a Hello Kitty-themed birthday party over the weekend, afterwards sharing a glimpse into the celebrations via TikTok and Instagram – and can we just say: wow.

Kardashian transformed her home into a Hello Kitty wonderland for the occasion, from the pink coloured carpets and furniture to the endless decorative balloon sculptures and an impressive ball pit to boot.

The star's recent TikTok video also showed the countless activities that were organised for Chicago's guests, from slime making and face painting to stuffing and decorating personalised Hello Kitty dolls. And as for the food? That was on-theme too, of course. Think waffle pops, a ramen bar, pink milkshakes, branded toasties (filled with pink cheese) and a gigantic Hello Kitty birthday cake for all to enjoy.

The birthday girl, meanwhile, wore a pink look and braids for the occasion, while Kardashian herself opted for jeans and a baby tee with 'I love you Chicago' printed across it. Message, received!
