Hello Kitty Birthday Party

Last week we had Addie’s Hello Kitty Birthday Party.  It was probably the most fun I’ve had planning and getting ready for a party in years!  There are so many cute ideas and things to buy for Hello Kitty.  Pinterest is full of them!  I was able to use my graphic design skills to adapt, create and change some pictures to work for what I wanted.  Feel free to use them!
The Invite:
I shared the invite awhile back along with some other invites I’ve created, but here it is again

The colors I wanted to do with the party were 2 shades of pink and black with white polka dots.

These were the party favors and the tag I used: Her birthday is the day before Valentine’s so it’s perfect timing to get pink party favors. I was also able to find the cute sunglasses with a bow in the corner just like Hello Kitty has! (pack of 5 at Walmart)

For the decorations I used some pink plastic table cloths, then I printed off this banner I had created and used some rickrack ribbon at the top of the banner to hold it together.

For the food we had: PB&J and Bologna sandwiches, cheese balls, tuna noodle salad (for the moms), pink punch, water bottles, M&M’s, candy corn, and cupcakes.

For the water bottles we wrapped some Hello Kitty duck tape around where the labels usually are.
The pink punch was one I found on Pinterest.  It was just okay. It was Pink lemonade, berry sherbet and sprite.  We made more later with just the sprite and sherbet and it was better.
For games we had a bounce house and played “pin the bow on the kitty”
I printed off some large bows and hand drew a Hello Kitty onto a poster.

For a bunch of 3 year olds it was a blast of a party!!

We put the banners up in Addie’s room afterwards.

Here’s some other Hello Kitty pictures I created and used as templates for the party.

Here’s some super fun things I found on Amazon too-
