This phone is a whole lot of garbage it is difficult to create a profile you probably knew this . what's the use. I have read the profile on this phone . people have been complaint since 2008 about this phone. I bought a piece of junk. Ebay should get rid of you .

Great phone... I'd get one again
This phone is a fun phone. I've always loved Palm products, from PDA's, to the Treo to Treo Pro and now the Palm Pre Plus... it is just simply amazing. It's very easy to use, I love having the ability to open so many apps simultaneously. It is very versatile in sending and receiving emails and texts. I am a Yahoo user, so I love the fact that I get instant email alerts! Super!! The WIFI reception is excellent (like Apple products). The most disappointing thing about the phone is it does not allow me to have internet access on the phone and therefore I cannot download the additional applications that I would like to. This is because I live in The Bahamas, and the APN setting of my local company is not accepted on the phone. But for this one tiny glitch, I think the Palm Pre plus ... This phone is a fun phone. I've always loved Palm products, from PDA's, to the Treo to Treo Pro and now the Palm Pre Plus... it is just simply amazing. Real Nice Phone
My first Palm was a Tungston T2, and it still operates except that I laid the weight of my elbow on the screen resulting in a crack on the top part. It had Bluetooth 5 or 6 years before I could afford a phone that had it. People were amazed that it would dial my phone for me. I used it to keep all my contacts, emails address, voice records, and finances amoung other things. I never had a boring moment after I bought my first palm, So after cracking the screen I started saving and looking for a new one. I ended up with a Palm TX. I really liked the WiFi on that, it checked my emails every hour when I was in a Trusted WiFi location. That saved so much time in front of the computer. So far... the Palm Pre Plus is all that plus a bag of chips! I was suprised at the assorment of apps for it, ... I think its a great phone & pda all wrapped up into one slim sexy device. Long time customer

Basically a cheap smartphone with quality OS and tiny keyboard.
The screen is vivid and clear. It comes with some minor issues though, like the gestures light is always on and the touchscreen isn't sensitive enough.. I hate this phone's the keyboard. It's very cramped; makes it difficult to type fast or accurately (and I do not have large hands). Don't get this phone if you desire App variety. There aren't many apps in the catalog. The operating system is, in my opinion, better than Android; operation is "cleaner" without all of Android's home-screens. The cards feature is pretty great. I do miss Android's widgets though. My least favorite feature of this phone is that you have to use data to log into or create a Palm Profile; it doesn't work if you try to use WiFi. A nice toy, but is it good for you?
Well, I wanted to get this phone for a while as I'm an old Palm PDA user and the time has come to move to a modern platform and to get the well featured phone at the same time. It's a nice toy, lovely designed and built well. It looks however, that while mechanics and electronics are just fine, the software is not yet established. It's rather 'raw' than 'well done'. There are lots of reviews on Palm Pre Plus on the Net, but have a look at the simple list below - this might affect your decision to buy this item. Display: TFT capacitive 16M 320x480 pixels multi-touch, 3.1". Very good and bright. Great touch experience. Equipped with the rotation sensor etc. Sound: MP3, vibration, speakerphone and 3.5mm audio output. Works just great as the phone, with a reasonable speakerphone loudness. ... The 3.5mm audio output, when plugged into your car radio AUX line, mutes the microphone, so the other side can't hear you. Memory: 16GB of built in flash and 512MB of RAM. Just excellent. No extension card, but, frankly, 16GB is more than enough. Communication: WiFi - one of the best devices I've ever seen - it catches the networks instantly and automatically switches to the known ones. The of the shelf browser and the mail application are very good. Bluetooth - is just a joke. It's build more for audio accessories, not for the data exchange. You can't just pass a photo, video or a music file to the other phone, PC etc. Very disappointing. USB - is fine. Device can be plugged in as a USB drive (in this case it doesn't behave as a phone and can't receive or place calls). It's charged from the USB port! Camera: Another disappointment. It's a 3.15MP camera with a led flash, but no auto-focus and no zoom. You can't take a picture of a tiny object, for instance. It rather behaves as an old fashion focus free camera. The quality, though, is good. And the video is just fine. Well, there's no secondary camera... GPS: The phone does have an A-GPS. It seems, however, that this feature was tailored for the cell companies, and it doesn't really behave as a pure GPS receiver. I didn't come across some third party application as well. If you build on this feature - consider something else. OS: The phone is powered by HP proprietary WebOS. I was too naive to assume that it would inherit some of the old Palm OS features and applications, but no such luck - it's a brand new device with it's own style, not much different from other cell phones. It's not a 'Palm' if this tells you something. There are lots of applications and 'patches' - non official applications - created by various Palm developers. You can find a lot, but still by orders of magnitude less than for, say, iPhone or Nokia. The basic set, though, is good. General: Palm Pre Plus doesn't come with any Sync/Desktop software. There are several commercial applications, which claim to fill the gap for some $40-$50, but I would expect something more from HP. Bottom line: a nice toy, which definitely worth the price, but not cooked well and missing some basic features. Fortunately, my son likes it, and I go back to my Nokia 5800.

Having a touch screen and pull out keyboard together provides quick accurate communication options. And the closed size is smaller than devices on the other touch screen operating systems. There are many Apps for the phone from Palm/HP Catalog and many more through 3rd party site (most are free). Running several mail accounts and apps 24/7 means battery often will not last a full business day, but with a micro USB charging system chargers are easy to acquire for AC and DC.
